At St. Joost academy I had the opportunity to participate in the Minor for Animated visual storytelling and learn from professionals in the industry while working on two pitch projects.
For this projects The Act I was the Lead background Artist/ Compositor

Here you see some of the environmental concept art I made for the pitch bible and the explorations that came with it
Because our story was inspired by the Industrial Revolution we wanted to make sure that our visuals reflected this. We wanted to make use of a very illustrative style with lots of line work but also lots of watercolor
Throughout this minor we were working towards developing some of the pitches into teasers. When The Act got chosen I got focus more on the colors of our project and creating finished backgrounds for in the teaser.
