A Family friendly fantastical 2D and 3D Animated short film
Logline: A grieving young girl gets lost and ends up in a strange fantastical world where she receives help from her lost one’s spirit to guide her home.
Concept Art
Color plays an important role in this film which is why I created a color script. The colors and its transition in the world are a reflection of the characters mental growth throughout the journey.
Environments
Throughout this film I have been making use of both 2D and 3D techniques. The backgrounds in this film and its assets are 2D painted whereas the foreground is mostly 3D creating a theatre set like environment. I made use of a lot felt and clay textures creating a world that feels other.
Animation
Throughout this project I made use of 2D character animation in a 3D environment.
